Located at the first floor of the foundation, the gallery space exhibits pieces made using alabaster. The Alain Ellouz foundation invites artists to fully capture the richness of the stone and offers support throughout the entire process of their creative project, from the design phase to the production of original pieces.
It is an environment for them to develop a dialog between alabaster’s intrinsic qualities and their own artistic discipline. This innovative dynamic transforms an ancestral stone into a new artistic medium for creators. The works produced during this collaborative initiative are grouped together in different series, where they are then exhibited throughout the 500 m2 that make up that remarkable space.
Some of the Gallery’s guest artists include Christel Martin, David Chambard, Alistair Danhieux, Bernard Pourcher, Christine Solaï, Amadeo Savio and Jesus S. Baptista.
